  Rayzorblade has gone to the BIRDS!!

  well...as some of you already know, i have a pet bird (parakeet).

  i adopted her several months ago from the toronto humane society.

  she's come a long long ways since when i first got her.. when i first got her, she was terrified of people.. 3 months later, she now hops up on my finger, and will allow me to scratch her head and neck.

  my faith in god and jesus christ cannot and i will not tolerate others who do not believe to attempt to stumble me or change my mind at all.

  my faith stands strong and true and none of you can do nothing to change it.. gods word say "do not cast your pearls before swine".

  i think maybe some of the members on this board criticise those of us who are always bringing up our childhood experiences in the jw organization because they may have only been exposed to it briefly and then got out quick.

  maybe they think it was all in our heads and we should just get over it.

  what is so sad is that every decision i ever made in my life either meant i would die at armageddon or live forever in the new system because that was reality.

  Small minded and uneducated???? Shame on you. Sandy its never too late to go back to school, Sheila is 39 and is getting a fine arts degree. I'm 39 and have discovered the joy and fulfilment of writing novels. You can accomplish anything you want, but you gott quit berating yourself with comments like that.

  OK lets see, she was drunk, stoked up on crack and X. She let the poor bastard suffer and die slowly in her garage. She had friends dump the body. She tore the seats out of the car and burned them.... I'm counting at least 4 strikes...

  Not any reason I can think of to keep her breathing!

  They pose questions, ask for opinions and then do everything in their power to mitigate, minimize and berate the responses. They verbaly abuse and mock the very ones they seek to impress. They dance around the issues taking the devils advocate position and stirring up contention. Keeping the masses feeling unsure as to their intentions and motivations. Hiding behind inuendo and superfluous statements.

  One must also take into account the worth of the giver to set value on the gem. I would rather posess a chunk of coal given by a friend than a diamond from an enemy.

  Of what value is a honking rock in an engagement ring possesed by a woman in a loveless marriage?

  I don't know anyone of substance that would judge a piece of jewlery as their favorite based solely on the "cash value" of the item.
